Panama City – Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport officials are trying to become more accommodating to large groups traveling to Bay County.
Yesterday airport board members discussed building a travel kiosk in the terminal. Customer service representatives at the kiosk would arrange shuttle bus service for larger groups of travelers.
Board members are trying to make sure this service will be an addition to ground transportation services, and not conflict with taxi service.
“When you walk up to the kiosk and ask about or say I want to take a cab to where ever they will tell you the person at the kiosk will be required to tell you where those cabs are,” said Gerry Clemons.
The board could put the kiosk out for bid during the February 22nd board meeting.
